Daughters of the moon: goddess of the night by lynne ewing

Well, this is one of the three books in a huge book. I thought this was pretty ok reading. I mean it wasn't at all predictable. I thought that vanessa was better as a brunette than blonde. I also thought that her power was sort of weird. I could understand going back into the past and stuff like that, but having her molecules spread until she was invisible... yea, i wouldn't want that power at all!

Not that that power is bad, i would rather have different powers. But her power is unique. The author could have said invisible, but it was her molecules spreading out. That would feel kind of weird... wouldn't it??

I thought the thing with Michael was a little... strange? I mean it was understandable that she turned invisible whenever michael tried to kiss her, but their argument, i didn't really like their sort of love story.

Instead i wanted Vanessa to end up with Santon!!! but that didn't happen did it..... well that's for a different story! that's all i want to say about my review, i know it's short, but i'm a lazy person!

Sorry i haven't been posting! But my excues will be that i haven't read any good books! Unless you want a stupid review on the book The Odyssey.... even though my class did not read the whole thing! yea.... but i'm close to finishing a book! well... since the book is actually three books in one... maybe i should just do three seperate reviews... since i have mixed feelings about each one.... hmm maybe i'll do that, but i will have one up soon! if i feel like it.... so no promises!! :)

UPDATE* I obviously broke my promise but this was in 10th grade. It is now 2 years later and I have not put it up. It will never be up. Sorry to disappoint.

Just something to let you guys know that i did not die!... i don't even remember the last time i posted... so i hope it wasn't yesterday.. because the beginning would sound really really really really stupid.. so if it was please excuse it! x)

So... i don't know what to say.. I still haven't found a new book... which SUCKS! and i don't have any time to either! at least not this week... And i don't really want to continue reading Beloved by Toni Morrison because i just don't.....

weird story! My teacher saw me reading it for SSR (something we do.. basically free reading time) and she started talking to me about it... and she said that once i finish then her and i will have a discussion about it.... that's another reason why i don't want to finish... becuase i don't like talking to my teachers.... they're just so intimedating!!!!

Misguided Angels by Melissa De La Cruz

I would like to start of with saying that this book sort of sucked for me (no pun intended). I've enjoyed the beginning of the series, but it's gotten so jumbled up that i cannot make sense of it. The beginning was pretty easy to understand, but once Bliss started getting weird and Kingsley was introduced, it all went downhill from there. It just got too confusing.

In the Van Allen Legacy, Oliver and Schuyler went to Europe... Then the things with the coven back at home, it just got too confusing. I also blame the point og view it's told in. It changes from chapter to chapter (sort of). Every time they change the point og view, it takes a while to get my bearing on things. It's just weird.

Also, the past thingy.. With some chapters going back to Florence in the past. I didn't get who the people were. It just got so jumbled up. I stopped re-reading because it wasn't worth the effort to sort things out.

Another thing, what was up with Deming's story? I think i would have done better as a companion book. I really expected more of Schuyler and Jack. (did not expect Oliver and Mimi to actually become friends... sort of shocking. i know!) Deming, it's just weird. She fell in love with a Nephlim and then had to kill him.... BAD! It just happened so quickly. And the lie that he told her... then they decided to check it out... and it turns out he lied... IT WAS SO CONFUSING!!!!

I'm glad that Jack and Schuyler will be bonded (married.. i'm considering it marraige!)

I feel bad for Stuart and Victoria though... STUPID PEOPLE KILLING PEOPLE! It sucks, i actually thought that it wasa a love story, that they planned the whole thing to actually be together... Stupid people... i was just.... disappointed with this book overall... I hope the next one is better.

(got to go! I'm going to imagine with Alan :) I love imagining)

funny!

I know this isn't a book review (more like my opinions on random stuff in the book) but it sorta has something to do with a certain book.... Well in class, we had to write a writing assesment essay thingy on our hero... i decided to chose Luce from the fallen series (BTW I CANNOT WAIT TO READ PASSION!). I'm pretty sure i BSed the whole thing, but still i thought it was pretty good... I have a way with lying about stuff on essays. What kind of promts are there anyway? (i'll save this rant for my ninja incorperated blog)

Anyway, i just wanted to post something since i haven't posted in a while... I've been living my life on Facebook and Youtbe... (all this was mentioned in ninja incorperated!)
